Cinematic Content for the Telecast
Every year since 2022 we've made the cinematic content for Miss South Carolina's competition week that goes out on the telecast, plus the social media content that follows the candidates all week.
More Than One Night
The Miss South Carolina Scholarship Organization has awarded scholarships to young women since 1936, and as an official preliminary to Miss America it's one of the largest sources of scholarships for young women in the state.
Most people only see the finals on television. The week behind them is full of interviews, talent, public speaking and the service work each candidate brings with her, and the organization wanted all of it on screen.
Competition Week
Our part is the cinematic content produced during competition week, the pieces the telecast is built around. In 2022, the organization's 85th year, that meant openings for the preliminaries and both finals, the parade of candidates, a week-in-review, the Teen and Princess programs, the crowning videos, and 41 thirty-second social impact stories, one for each candidate.
We've been back every year since with new segments for the telecast, and in 2026 the interviews for Dancing with the Palmetto State Stars.
We also produce the organization's social media content during the week: daily reels, social cuts and a story for every candidate, so people can follow along long before the crowning.
