Carolina Crescent
Website and Films
A website and video pieces that turn academic research on the Blue Ridge Escarpment into a visually engaging digital presence.
Project Brief
The Carolina Crescent covers the Blue Ridge Escarpment ecoregion across Oconee, Anderson, Spartanburg and Buncombe counties. The area holds more than 1,000,000 acres of protected forest and land, with unsurpassed biological and geological diversity. In academia, this part of the escarpment is considered one of the most resilient places in the entire world.
A Platform to Share
Academics are very good at the details. Our goal was to take those details and create a visually engaging digital presence, with a new website and video pieces sharing the resilient and sustainable features the Carolina Crescent region offers.
